Just put these on Friday. GREAT MOD. I was concerned I would not see as well. This is not the case, in fact, they are a lot BETTER than the stock mirrors. They are bigger and placed farther outboard than the stock mirrors. I see a lot better. With stock, the left mirror showed mostly my arm or the side of the road depending on where I adjusted it. The right showed what was behind. Now both of them show a car behind me, etc.
For 60 bucks, this a cheap mod and makes the bike look more custom. I did not find it hard to drill the holes in the right place with the included template. It took about 20 minutes to put them on. Most of the time was taking the fairing apart and reassembling it.
I put them on my 05 FLHT but I don't think they function as good as the stock mirrors. \\; I'll probably go back to stock when I get some plugs for the holes. \\; I recommend that you check someone elses out before drilling the holes.

Got em on my 01 and love em, but rode a friends 06 and couldn't see no matter how I adjusted them...
I think the main thing is to get them far enough out when you mount them. I'm going to install a pair on mine. I HAVE seen both the fairing mount mirrors and long stem handle bar mounted mirrors being run at the same time. Not a bad look and you've got REAL good coverage with both. Just my .02 if they don't work out quite right.
\\; I have them on my 08 EGC. Had them done before I picked it up. \\; Love them as they clean up the bike looks alot. Loe the lack of vibration.
