08 road king clasic 105 edition
Could anyone help me with photos or advise on how to add some nice chrome to my new bike? What did you add? Thinking of adding? I also need help with what pipes to add, seat and bars. I had a 03 100yr ann that i put about 6k into, but i dont have the receipts for the stuff i added, plus i want to take a bit from others that have done stuff already...

Grab a parts catalog from your dealer and go through it. \\; That should generate some ideas. \\; Customize it for you, not from what someone else has done.

Please don't tell me you're going to trust the knuckleheads on this forum to customize a brand new 08 Road King. \\; That's YOURS! \\; Do it your way. \\; Nobody here can tell you what's going to fit your size, frame, style, or look.... Do some homework, go buy American Bagger, Bagger Magazine, American Iron, HD Catalog, Kuryakyn, Arlen, Custom Chrome, J&\\;P, shop around at bike night, touch, sniff, scratch, listen...It'll come. \\; It's a process man, and you've got to go through it to appreciate it. \\; Don't let somebody tell you that would look good and then put it on...You may hate it. \\; Nuff said, go ride for a month, do some homework, and come back and show us what you did.

I will give you another alternative.....the 105th's look good when you start blacking things out! \\;My sig pic has not been changed, but I have a blacked out front end and some other things as well.

Chrome front end, chrome passenger floor board covers, chrome trim rings on headlight, turns, passing lamps, Wild 1 518 bars, chrome front fender skirt. \\; That should give you someting to do this weekend.

About the only thing I knew I wanted on my RK as soon as I got it home was the chrome transmission interface cover and the heat shield that covers the entire pipe off the front cylinder. Both of those pieces were obviously unfinished intentionally from the factory to get you to spend $$$ making it look right. Everything else is up to you man.

Looking at my own there were things that stuck out that needed chrome. The intake/EFI components between the air filter cover and tank, and the gap between the bags and rear fender-a couple examples in my case. Once I noticed them I could not stop looking at them and needed the chrome to make them flow/blend with the rest of the bike.
If I go to a busy dealer I will look at the other bikes for some ideas-that starts getting expensive though! Bottom line, do what you feel needs to be done-NOT what others think you should buy.
