Default Radio aux. jack splitter

Does anybody know if there is such a thing? I have&nbsp\\;my Sirius and mp3 player mounted and the the only way to switch from one to the other is to stop and switch the jack. I know they make a splitter for ear buds but I can't find one for a aux. jack. Thanks! Bull

The answer is Yes and NO.&nbsp\\; Just putting a "splitter" in the jack will NOT work.
&nbsp\\;
Below is a link to a place called Kennedy electronics.&nbsp\\; They have what you want, however it is not inexpensive.

I am sure there is something out there that can fit the bill.&nbsp\\; Check with radio shack.&nbsp\\; A word of caution, anytime you split the cable you will encounter DB loss and compromise the input signal.

If what you're referring to is a simple male stereo to two female stereo pigtail, yes, they are available.&nbsp\\; Here's one.

But I recommend against it.&nbsp\\; Combining the outputs of two audio devices isn't always a good thing to do.&nbsp\\; That's why mixer devices are available to keep the various outputs separated.&nbsp\\; This is only one of several available.&nbsp\\; Read the "The Problem" section on that page to learn why the pigtail route isn't a good idea.

Here's a link to the CVO forum on how to add a jack to the back of your radio. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.p...;topic=10044.0 You can have one hooked up in front and one in the back, just make sure you have one powered off before powering on the other.
