Default lOOKING FOR AN OIL CHANGE WIDGET

Hi All,

It looks to me as though oil will go everywhere when I take off the filter during an engine oil change. Does someone make a tool or piece of equipment that minimizes the spilled oil when changing filters?

I guess I was a bit less than clear. I have an oil drain pan, but was wondering if there was a better way of reducing oil spill onto the engine when I take off the filter. I guess a folded pice of cardboard might do the trick.

Yes. a folded piece of cardboard or tin foil works perfectly.&nbsp\\; did it at that last change.

Try one side of a file folder, it's just stiff enough yet flexible enough to do the job.
