There is a connector inside the nacelle.I had a Powerlet wired from inside the nacelle and can be turned on and off by the accessory switch.I am not electrically savvy so had the dealership do it for me.It must be easy cause the labor charge was minimal.I'm sure somebody on here can walk you through the installation. There is no need to come off from the electrical box under the seat.
How do you wire something to the accessory switch on an 08 Road King? I have a GPS and J-M CB I want to wire to the accessory switch.
If you want to just tap into 12V (toggled by ignition switch) at the ACC switch, here is a diagram of how I wired my GPS. If you want to toggle power using the ACC switch, tap into the orange (O) wire instead, but everything downstream of the switch will be toggled too.
When I did mine I thought it was in headlight nacelle \\;but couldn't find it. It was located in front of the battery. A female plug. You can buy the male plug with all the parts in a package around 5 bucks at HD.
