99 ultra happened to me 3 weeks ago same exact thing wait till you get the new part need to modify. no bolt&nbsp\\;threads just through holes. buy lag bolts dont let them try and sell you the entire kit for an additional 50&nbsp\\;as they tried for me.they said never heard of it as well but i still have the same cracked one in my gagrage as a reminder and yes both holes same time same place as yours and I store nothing in mine at all and no passenger

We have a guy in our HOG chapter that has had two of those break.
Bikes with lot's of miles on them though.
He carrys tiedown straps with him to gerry rig fix it on the road.

Broke 2 stock brackets and 1 Kuryakyn, went to detachable set-up. Parts weasel at my local stealer criticized me for overloading my tour pack. I replied, "two novelty helmets and two pairs of shades is overloaded?"
