You can say that again.......... No warning. One minute the cruise is set, listening to some mellencamp, then the bike just quit and coasted down from 80mph.
I have an 08/07 build date. Fuel pump shell seperated and would not \\;hold pressure. \\;Left me stranded down the shore. The whole fuel pump was replace under warranty. The mechanic shown me the pump and the metal u-clip wasn't inside the boss on one side of the pump. It was put into the bike that way at the factory and it was the second one he has seen. \\;
Pig Trail HD from Rogers, AR. picked my 08 UC up at 8am. \\; I had the wife run me to Rogers (55 miles one way) at noon, bike was ready to go. \\; They didn't even charge me road service to come to my house and pick it up. \\; 110 miles for them, boy was I was blown away by that. \\;
Thank you to Pig Trail Harley Davidson and Matt for not bangin' her up on the trip. (the bike, not my wife)

i changed mine at ~5000 miles, definite signs of failure down the road! \\; Glad I did it. \\; I need to take it to the dealership and request my money back based on the potential failure
