it is under the speedometer in the tank. \\; Remove the fuel tank top plate, tap the locking ring in a counterclockwise direction and slip the assembly out of the tank.

Pull fuel pump fuse and let bike stall out. \\; Then hit the starter button 3 times. \\; This depressurizes it.

As you all know this is a real pain when it goes. \\; \\;We had no warning, the bike just quit, Ours was an early build date picked up on August of 07.. \\; Tim

You can say that again.......... No warning. One minute the cruise is set, listening to some mellencamp, then the bike just quit and coasted down from 80mph. \\; It totally sucked. Not to mention the fact that this was the first vacation I took on this bike and I was in the middle of nowheresville, Iowa.  \\;
