Default Fuel Filter Canister
Three weeks ago had my 08 Ultra towed to the dealer to have the fuel filter canister replaced.&nbsp\\; I was lucky to be close to home when it went TU and was able to limp home.&nbsp\\; Two weeks ago got the bike back.&nbsp\\; It ran great but the oil temp was higher than normal.&nbsp\\; Friday night I rode about 75 miles with the outside temp at 85.&nbsp\\; The oil temp went to 330-350 and the oil pressure down to 15 psi at 2300 rpm.&nbsp\\; Anyone else have this problem.&nbsp\\; I can't see that it is related to the canister but you never know.&nbsp\\; The ultra is back at the dealer for them to check.&nbsp\\; Will post when I hear something.
Good thing I also have a Yamaha to drive.
How embarrasing!!

Terrible. Glad you are ok. Wish I had backup! Ordered the cannister today and will install myself. Dealer said there is no issue.

replaced my canister today.&nbsp\\; Glad I did, it had definite signs of weakness on the locking ears
