I hate pinging \\;I for one do not have the answer however I now put a little octane boost every time I fill up I keep the bottle in the tour pack one bottle last me 4 to 5 fillups

I got in hard traffic in 94 degree temp by the time I came out the other side the sled was really pinging I found it interesting that the fuel I got was in NY I stopped got octane boost and I have been happier ever since

My bike also started pinging awhile back, got the same recommendations re lower octane gas with a booster. Also the front plug has been fouling since this started. I've had at least 3 different explanations for this including valve seals, bad coil, bad map sensor. Anyone?
The ignition timing is the issue.The newer bikes are running lean with a lot of advance or too \\;aggresive \\;advance curve,or combination.A lot of \\;Bros I know are running the highest octane available and still pinging. \\;
