Default rider backrest

Is there a trick to inserting the nonadjustable style rider back rest into the bracket under the seat. I cant hold the compressed portion of the backrest while inserting through the seat.

yes, sell it and buy a mustang backreset. Intalls with one hand, no goofy spring to lose.

Put the spring loaded arms in at a angle and insert one side into the mount.&nbsp\\; Then push to collapse the spring against the inserted side and then lower the other side into place.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Done right it takes 5 seconds to put on and take off.&nbsp\\;

Did u try squeezing with your index fingers closest to the bottom of backrest, sorta upsidedown? You'll have more leverage with your index fingers closer to th ebottom vs your little finger in the same place....make any sense?

It is a pain but you will get use to it. Try to angle it and do one side at a time. you can loop a cord around it draw it closed then release the cord slowly. Getting it installed is not nearly as hard as taking it out.

trade it in for the adjustable, much better on the back, worth the money, and is also removable
