I just changed mine out yesterday. The more I think of it I would not trust my stealership to do it anyway even for free.

Broke down last night, had to be towed.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Today got it to the dealer and they verified my bike is in the recall.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Had to pay thirty bucks out of pocket for the tow, HOG only pays first $100
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Last week I had service done and asked them to check it but they said they couldnt because HD hadnt issued any type of recall, but they were familiar with the problem already

Mine was replaced under the bulletin this morning. I had already ordered the part a couple of week ago and bike was already in shop for 5K service.

My Dealer told me today that the MoCo is sending out 10,000 filter shells to all the dealers world wide. Each dealer will get the same number of filter shell kits&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;as the number of bad units(bikes) they sold.
I will have to wait 7-10 days to get my filter shell kit.
Shouldn't we change the filter as well, ???

The recall is indeed # 0135.
Thank you to my dear local “stealer” Rossmeyer HD of Ft. Lauderdale, they had me in today, had the parts in stock and took care of business within a hour.No questions, ifs, ands or buts…just courteous, fast, professional service, they even replaced a rubber grommet that had broken off one of my docking points.
Special thanks to Mark and Lillian, both great people to deal with..Kudos!
According to Mark my original part showed clear signs of damage and it was a matter of time before complete failure.
I really appreciate this as my wife and I are riding up to Milwaukee, now with peace of mind!
