Default OE speaker connectors

Can they be used with aftermarket speakers or do they need to be snipped??? Picking up a pair of Infinitys tomorrw and wondering if I should get the makings for a jumper.

I just installed a set of the Infinity Kappa 59.Is speakers.
You will love them.&nbsp\\; You will have to cut the factory connectors off unless you make a small pigtail using spade connectors.&nbsp\\; The crossover on the Infinity speakers has a screw terminal that the bare wire fits into.&nbsp\\; The factory speaker wires are of a small gauge so I would suggest twisting the wire and then putting some solder on it before screwing it into the terminal.

Dunno if the ones I am picking up have screw connectors or not. But if they do have terminals for spade connectors should the stock connectors work fine with them???

You will like your speaker choice. You wont have any problem putting them in. I went the pig tail route. I really didnt want to clip my wires but if you needed to no big deal

I'm actually going with the Reference series not the Kappas. They have a silk dome tweeter which sounds so smooth. And they are a little cheaper.
