need a little info.. is there a way to tell if a brake rotor is warped. front rotors

Put the bike on a lift ,spin the wheel ,and watch the brake pads, or the rotor its self.
&nbsp\\;Mount a dial indicator to the fork ,and slowly spin the wheel,and watch the dial.
