Well if ya need it one time and dont have it , you know it'll cost more than $800 to fix the bike if it goes down .

Everything I have read so far says touring models only. Hopefully, it will trickle down to the other models over time.

VROD has it I heard and I watched the dvd that came with my bike and sure as **** the vrod was on there with it.

Hi Brad, you are absolutely right. You posted your response while I was typing mine and I had completely forgotten about the Vrods being included in the ABS available lineup.

Ive wanted it ever since the 08s came out. Pissed me off big time after just buying a new 07.

Well, the 09s pushed me over the edge. Between the 08 and 09, just too many improvements to resist. But the ABS is the thing that triggered it, the rest is icing on the cake.

Unless something really drastic changes my mind, I will never own another bike without it.

800 bucks is not too much to spend if it might save your *** one day when someone does a left in front of you. However, as this video states, the laws of physics do still apply.

I was going to get a Softail Classic, but saw the video on ABS. It changed my mind.
Saved me the first week I had my new Road King. I waited 6 weeks extra to get it and I am so glad I did. It should be standard on all Harley models. I know it is a choice thing, but it WILL save your ***.
