Last weekend a deer leaped out in front of me on a country highway - without the new bembro brakes and ABS it would have been very ugly - It is the best option you could ever buy - new pipes won't save your life
Watched the video and read all the comments, guess it's a no brainer...
Only question, how about aftermarket wheels and ABS? I see there's a sensor on the stock wheels....
The sensor is in the bearing. They can be put in the new wheel. I changed wheels on mine. Just think about how many people wouldn't buy a bike without ABS. Now think about resale you limit yourself on how many people would buy your bike. Abs is great!
I would byu a new bike only with ABS. But I have since last year a '02 RKC. And I love it. It would be fantastic if I could refit even for double of the factory price.

I had my name on an '09 FLHTC and checked with local dealers on one in black with ABS. For the bikes they ordered in the first run (aug/sept) they only had Ultra Classic's with ABS. They could make changes to bikes they ordered this week for run 2.

Added the ABS to my order today....Couldn't get the dealer to budge on the ABS MSRP though....Can't complain, slightly below MSRP on the bike with cruise and security too....Still a few bucks over $22000 with tax, tags &\\; registration fees.
