Definitely a safety enhancement but if I found a bike with everything I wanted, right color, etc. but it didn't have the ABS, it would not be a deal breaker for me.

No brainer.&nbsp\\; Used mine already in a panic stop.&nbsp\\; Some ahole pulled out right in front of me.&nbsp\\; Plus you are spending ~20K already, whats another $800.

I ordered a bike without ABS. My friends talked me into changing my

order, and getting ABS. Best move I ever made, it is worth $800.00

I don`t have&nbsp\\;ABS but, I would not buy a 08 or 09 H-D without it!

Yes, its worth it. Had it on my Goldwing and it not only made braking safer, but made the sell of my bike much easier and brought back the money it cost extra.

touring and the vrods only

back to the topic though.......... Its worth more than the extra 800 bucks. I used it twice so far and it is awsome, not like car abs either, it really works. I was going to cheap out and not get it but Im soooooooo glad I did.
