I would be curious to know if anyone who has switched to a synthetic oil has seen a noticeable change in oil temp for the same given road conditions, and ambient temp???

On both my 07 Fat Boy and 08 Electra Glide, average oil temps dropped 20-30 degrees after the switch to synthetic oil.

Let me toss this out there. I run Amsoil and a Jagg 10 row cooler. With my Wally gauge I would see 220-230 degrees. I just installed Dakota Digital gauges and now see 215-220 under the same conditions. I think the digital gauge is more accurate.

Yes, Dakota Digital gauge package with the oil temp sender in the pan.
With HD natural 20-50 oil, temps would reach 250-260 in the 30 mile stretch to my dealer
With full synthetic20-50, 220-230 same stretch of road.
