I like using a citric based cleaner called Goo Gone. Get it at most large supermarkets or Wal-Mart. Works great for tar as well.

find largest towel....soak it really really good with hose..lay it on area of bike ..go have dinner..watch Tv..come back 1/2 hour or a bit more later...they will fall off...works for your car also...do not try to scratch at them with finger nail....the soaked towel will soften the bugs...if real bad let it sit longer..&nbsp\\;

Hydrogen peroxide - bugs are essentially protein, which it'll dissolve.

+1 towel soaked in hot water. Lay it on top of fairing or windshield and walk away. Work on another part of the bike and it will be clean in am minute or two.

+20 on the wet/hot towel.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
And not to hijack the thread, but how about getting the bugs/bug guts from being plastered in the area around the headlamp?&nbsp\\; It's a b!tch to get in there.

I've tried the Harley bug remover and it works pretty good and fast too.
