Thinking of chroming out my lowers how difficult of a job is it. Is it a job for an arm chair mechanic with a manuel or should I have the dealer do it. if the dealer was to do it how many hours should it take.
I had the dealer do mine, and MAN what a upgrade! \\; I was tossing up either chrome or powdercoating, but I think the chrome looks better with the color of my bike!!! \\; Not sure about the ease of the job, I know nothing about that, I usually pay to have them do it... but it looks SWEET!!!!

Then its not to bad of a deal with the manual and some of your time. The dealer I think charges around 5 hours labor for the job. To make life easier I did get the sockets to take the top fork nut off and the top plug.
