FLHRCI 1750 miles total, no problems that I am worried about at this point, however, a few times, maybe 3, start bike in morning, roll down driveway, turn onto town road and roll to intersection, I have traveled about 400' so far, bike in first gear just above an idle. Stop at intersection, check traffic, give a little throttle as letting out clutch, engine just above an idle and bingo dead. Starts right up, and may not happen again for a month, so I am not sure if it was the cool (40 degree) weather, or me...
Love the bike though!
Only 1,443 miles due to snow, snow, and more snow. It was sleeting & snowing the night I rode it home from the dealer in November.
Still waiting for the "cold start" problems. Most of my rides have been in temps from 20s to 40s. Only seen the oil temp up to 200 degrees one time. Have oil cooler, but it has not opened up since last fall (the day the oil temp went to 200 degrees).
This is my 6th HD and the first one I have considered leaving "box stock" as it has good power and runs smoothly (and I like to be able to hear the radio).
If this bike does develope the 'cold start' problems, I'll have them install a SERT and K&N air filter when they put in the new injectors to get it running as good as it does now.
1700 miles so far and no real problem. A few pops and I do not know if I would call it running hot in traffic. That's pretty normal for an air cooled engine.
Had all the symptoms. Injectors changed at 1800 miles two weeks ago. No more symptoms but gas mileage sucked. Dealer called Wednesday, said they needed to reflash the ECU with new download. Went to dealer 70 miles away, used 3/4 tank of fuel. New download installed. On the ride back, used less than 1/8 tank of fuel and I was gouging on it several times. Now it runs like a $20K bike should. Time for some mods[sm=happy046.gif]
