I attached my Zumo 550 to the Acc switch. The reason was that every time I cut on the bike main switch the GPS would come on and I wanted to be able to turn it on when I wanted to use it. Also cleaned up the wiring , instead of using the cigarette lighter. Bldr

I'd like to do that also. Where did you get to the plug to hook up the ZUMO?

+1 on the zumo wired to the acc switch. Ran the switch in the fairing, under the tank console and under the seat where the accessory plug is located. Works great thanks to the people on this forum who guided me. you can get the plug from the dealer, I think it cost me $4.00 or something.
