Glad you're ok. I HATE riding in the rain. I've been in 2 bike accidents. Both times it was raining. That's one thing that has kept me from going on long rides. I can't imagine having to ride 2-3 days in rain.
I did something last year except i curbed the frame and bent the 2 down tubes. I just got my fram back last month and then sent it out to be powder coated so now i am trying to piece it back together.
Glad to hear you will be okay. Bike will get fixed, Replaced and lessons learned.
I have firs hand experience on not watching the road. It all boiled down to I knew better but the skirt in the car next to me was HOT! I got lucky and went between the two cars and stopped about at there front tires. If I hit the car in front of me, I'm guessing I would of hit it at around 20. That would have left a mark!
