Default How low do I go?

I have an '07 RK Custom with a 21" front wheel. I dropped it 1" and would like to drop it one more. The lowering kit (Burley) says not to drop the FLH 2". I see it all the time in the magazines though. I took my engine guard off. I'm not sure if that's what they are concerned with. Any input would be great.

I have a Road King Classic with a 21" and I dropped mine 1" it sure looks like I can go 2" too. I have the progressive kit where you can add the springs and take it down to 2" I called progressive and they told me NOT to go 2". I may see if I can get a used or damaged fender and put it on my bike and ride around for a while.

The slammed look does look mighty powerful. But I wouldn't ride that way. If the allure is so great, get an air adjustable system so you can ride it at a practical height, and lower it while parked or at really really slow speeds.
