My dealer said if it is Harley dealer installed you are ok. Ya right. LOL LOL LOL. Bob. I will find out next week when the Regional rep meets me at the dealer to find out why my 05 eg runs terrible with the stage one installed. And yes I made sure the dealer did it so I would not void my warranty. LOL LOL. Oh I almost for got the bike has 2,500 miles on it. I will keep you all updated.
My dealer is saying they will not honor the warrenty if anyone but them does the stage one. Since I have extended warrenties I am probably going to play it safe and let them do it and then go to a decent dyno shop and have htem retune the sert.
My dealer said it will not effect the waranty then I asked if im not around here and have to go to another dealer in some other state then what ......the reply you should be fine

I'll be willing to bet, when push comes to shove, the Crossed Flags in the offical Harley book will be the deciding factory. Think about the problems some people are having trying to get the MoCo to replace the injectors...........so how do you think they will respond with a blown motor?
I called 10 different dealer and called MOCO before I did mine and they all said as long a HD install you will not void the warranty.
That's why I had my Stage 1 put on before I ever left the dealer on the day I bought the bike. They said everything would be covered under the warranty including the SERT, plus I got 10% off of everything including the labor. Not a big deal but it saved me $120.
Not very confidence inspiring is it? My guess is that with the impending EPA crap, some dealers aren't sure what they will be able to get away with on the warranties after June when the SE exhausts go away. So the ones saying the SERT is covered are playing craps regarding getting paid for warranty service through the MOCO. Just an opinion. I don't think I'm willing to gamble, since I don't race my bike.
