Default Chrome Bolts ?

Want to change the hardware on my primary cover (08 Ultra classic) to the chrome ones. If I take one bolt out at a time and replace will I have a problem, will the others should hold it together long enough. Also what lock tight red or blue.
Thanks John

It will be fine to do them one at a time. Use blue loctite.

That will work fine, use blue locktite, and absolutely don't try it without a torque wrench.
FWIW,My bike is done with chrome hardware, but next time I think I'll use Hottoppers.

Might I suggest stainless steel bolts instead of chrome. I would never use the red locktite for the primary bolts.

Do as mentioned, I have never used blue l/t on case covers and never had a problem.
Some advice; do it when the bike is cold. The reason is the oil is thicker, less chance to leak while removing bolts. The cases are cool which means the metal is not expanded so the torque is more uniform. My .02
