Don't think your crazy just confused.I have a 08 Road glide and want a heritage springer real bad but I cant sell the RG fo the springer. Every time I ride it I love the ride but hate the head buffeting.
Put on your best pair of jeans. Now put a rock in both back pockets. You've taken care of the too comfy problem. Now turn the CD off. There I've saved you a lot of trouble.
I rarely laugh out loud when I read most posts, but this one was MY favorite. My salesman said something pretty similar, "You do know you can turn the radio off right"?
The SG is paid for (cash for toys!) so that is not the problem. I don't have any more room for another motorcyle so I can't have both. I love the look of the Heritage so I don't want to change it.
Man, I am just being a whiny baby going through his 5th midlife crisis. I think I will stop whining about such an absurd problem and just go ride.
Thanks for all the advice everyone! Man, I do love this forum.
I road 30,000 miles a year on my Sportster. I've already put 20,000 miles on my new Road King in 8 months. 12,000 would be a piece of cake on any bike. I know what you are saying. I really like the old school look of the Cross Bones. I say go for it!
IMO the Crossbones is Hds joke on the fraternity. You won't look cool, the word starts with an f not a c.
If you want a cool bike you have to build one. Buy "The Horse" and see what I meen.
As a factory ride, you can't go wrong with the 09 FLHX. Take advantage of your wifes blessing and do one or the other but don't but the Xbones!!!
