Get the Cross Bones.

Years ago I got an Ultra and though it was a damn fine riding machine, it just never felt right to me. Too civilized or something. Felt like I should join up with some Goldwingers. I traded it in on a FXSTC and never regretted it. The softail just felt right, like my older Harleys but newer and nicer.

I recently got a Road King Custom and really like it but when the Cross Bones showed up I knew that if I had not just bought the RK that the Cross Bones would be my new bike. I like the RK Custom very, very much and plan on keeping it but it is not the same as a fairing bike. I just don't need a fairing and all that comes with it. But the SG is sharp looking. But so is the Cross Bones. Tough decision for a guy who has to have his wife's permission.

Keep your SG. For what it would probably cost you to trade and upgrade you could buy a new Nightster and build a small shed out back to keep it. Then you would have everything you need (and in my mind you would have 2 bikes lots cooler than the XB!).
