I rode and 08 Ultra today to see if I would like a touring model.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm comming from an 07 Fatboy.
I could not ride what I can afford which is either a 09 Road King, 09 Road King Classic or
if I'm real lucky on the trade... the option of a Street Glide.
I guess I have some mixed feelings about the Bat Wing but I like the bikes lower attitude.
hey pg, the bat is where it's at! I ride an Ultra and had a Road King before that, if you want to hit the road for any distance, get the batwing and never look back.
That is if the $$$ part hlds up.
It will be.... SG
I think I'm influenced to much by what I think a motorcycle or of course Harly should look like.
But what is happing is the more I look at the SG that friggin thing is slick.
I like cause it is lower. Tunes if I want em. Protection, but not too much and besides I can by a toller or shorter wind deflector thingy anyway.
Now comes the $$ and color and if I can swing the ABS.
I'd rather have the ABS if that is the deciding factor though.
Man, I am going through the exact same decision process - 07 Fatboy for a touring bike. Like the SG, but the Motor Co. has them quite pricey as compared to the RK. Decisions decisions. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get an Ultra!
