Default Ordering Electra Classic, request imput

Real serious about ordering a EG Classic. In fact, my Uncle and I will order at the same time. Decision on a EG Classic is that the only items difference I might want would be Cruise (which I will order as an option) and have thoughts that I might like the rear speakers. I'll not have a passenger as the wife is a non biker at all. Question is, Do the rear speakers add much to the listening quality over just the front speakers? And have any of you added the HD rear speakers to your Classic? Any idea as to the cost of these and are they hard to install and wire up?

Really tempted on the Ultra but being 6'4", would do away with the lower fairings to put long reach highway pegs on the engine guard to stretch out. As usual, thanks for any thoughts and info.

For a cruise control, try any of the throttle locking devices, I have used these and like them, look sharp http://www.throttlemeister.com/

As far as rear speakers, take out the stock HD speakers and get the Hogtunes front and rear speakers with amplifier. Have this setup on my EGC now, big improvement from my former FLTRI. Easy install. http://www.hogtunes.com/

I'm 6'3 and used hard lowers with Kuryakyn highway pegs. I positioned them so that the open part of the lowers lined up with my shins.

Don't need to take off the lowers to stretch on highway pegs. Get the Ultra!

The lowers can stay, pegs will go to the outside of them anyway.

+1 for the Ultra. 4 speakers rock....after you upgrade them

Cruise is well worth the money, cuts out on throttle cut-back, rear brake, front brake, clutch lever, raising speed 10 mph. You can bump throttle up or down 1 mph increments. It works great on hill too, just like a car.
It's a no brainer add on for me, beats the hell out of any piece of chrome or whatever.
Don't know about the rear speakers but the fronts have never been past a hair over half volume on mine, great sound.

Get the Ultra, had a friend that bought a EG Classic and spent more than the Ultra would have cost, in trying to make the EG an Ultra.

Get the Ultra.

My next one will be an Ultra. A throttle lock will NOT replace Cruise Control!

Go with the Ultra! I ride 2 up and as long as I set the fader control on the stereo with a bit more on the rear speakers I can hear them no problem. I do plan on upgrading to Hogtune speakers soon!
