Default Road King vs. Road King Classic

Could someone please help me? I am currently riding a 04 Fatboy and planning on buying a 09 Rocker(fiance's) and a 09 Roadking. Why is there a $2000 difference between the Roadking and Roadking Classic? It appears as though the only difference is the saddlebags, am I missing something else? Also does anyone have apehangers on their Roadking and if so what height are they and are they more comfortable. Does anyone know why they aren't offering more bikes in Black Denim? Would LOVE to buy my Roadking with that color!!!!

Other differences are cruise control standard and spoked wheels with wide white walls. I am 6'2" and run 16" apes and love them. They have a nice look and very comfortable on long rides.

Road King reflects the past and always has. The early bikes didn't have plastic bags.

Some of the FLs in the late '50's had plastic bags so I would say that even today's plastic bags reflect the "early" bikes too.

does a '62 DuoGlide qualify as an "early" bike??? this is my dad's bike that he bought brand new in '62, 14k original miles, it has never been modified in any way except for a new windshield, and I think mirrors.

Classic has leather bags, cruise control, spokes and white walls. Not sure that adds up to $2000, but it is close.
