Stereo Update Warning

UPDATE:
as you know, i tried the upgrade on my 2006 FLHXi last night. The update failed and the disk was stuck and the radio locked.
SOOO, I tried all the known rescues: fuse pull, retry the upload, entered the radio via the diag mode.....nothing.
So i found the thread that discussed Pez's advice (hogtunes) to ride the bike for about 20 min and the cd would eject if you left the cd door open.
I called him this AM and discussed this. He was VERY nice and helpful and advised me to try the ride fix. He also offered to send me an upgrade disk that would work. I was very appreciative and took moment to go ahead and order some speakers.
Well.......It worked!! 5 min into the ride and that SOB came sliding out. Radio unlocked and all is well. Original software is intact and and all functions returned.
As as side note: I call HD customer service this am. I unloaded.......
I've owned 5 Harley's...... 4 new ones. The HD web site download is iffy and it is well known. Very little help.
AVOID IT !!
Although i did not buy this bike at my local dealer, they were all over it this afternoon. Was reassured that this would be addressed by the HD and the dealer. Was advised to D/C the battery tonight and leave it off all night, as the radio still had power to the clock and memory even with the fuse pulled. If the cd did not eject with the ride or the D/C, they would get this done!
