Man you guys got me thinking. I have yet had the experience but it is not uncommon for me to be running down the highway on cruise control at 75 mph with only one hand on the bars. I have done this many times in the long sweeping turns and never went to two hands on the bars. I may change that now because I damn sure don't want to have a wobble start and have only one hand on the bars.

Any bike will flex when pushing hard through corners under brakes even GP bikes. Harleys have rubber engine mounts to stop the vibes so they will flex and wobble or wallow or what ever you want to call it. I have felt this many times but its not like the death wobble where you get the bars ripped from your hands when slowing down. I will fit a str8 or true track just in case I over shoot a corner and need to grab the brakes to slow down better safe than sorry.

Anytime I put my 07 ultra into a sweeping bend I feel the wobble or wallow that others have noticed. I don't think 80 mph is pushing the issue on a top of the line touring bike. After all the speed limit is 75 mph in many states and 80 mph in Texas.

The engineers at the MCO must feel the same way or they would not have made the changes in 09 to fix this problem. I love my 07 ultra but guess who's looking at a new frame and fatter tires in the near future!!

I ride a 2007 Road King Classic am another that has not experienced the wobble. I have tried to make it wobble using the suggestion that ACFTDR mentioned and still no wobble. I was begining to think I was the only one that hasn't experienced it, so I am glad to see that I'm not. I do however beleive allot do have it or else there wouldn't be so many stabilizers on the market. I guess those of us who don't should be thankful.
Does anyone know if a certain model is more prone to this problem? Does milage (8,500 on mine) make it more noticable?

Pump your shocks up like I did to around 30psi. My bikes rides like its on rails and doesn't change track like it did at 25psi. I think the frame mod was more for their trike conversion and cheaper to produce. Kaw sells its 1500 for $9K and it's frame is built the same way.

Coming from my two previous bikes a Buell XB12S and a Yamaha R1 i always tried to push myself . So when i got my 02 RK i wanted to see how this thing would handle , i took a familiar corner at around 65 or so and got the dreaded wobble , woke my *** up real quick , didnt panic just let out off the throttle and the bike settled itself right down .

I couldnt agree more , i like to ride my bike hard so ill probably be looking into a rear stabilizer soon .

My '06 SG gets a little wiggle on straight interstates 70mph and above and I have a stabilizer. I think it's the batwing interacting with the wind.

I have an 07 SG and mine wobbles around speeds of 35 through 50 mph especially through turns but above 55 mph it doesn't wobble especially on the highway...

I've felt it too...just like most, its during high speed (80+) sweeping turns. it does wake you up, but as long as you have the room to roll off the throttle, its all good. maybe in the future I'll look into the fixes...
