1997 Electra Glide Ultra Classic - a previous issue was resolved with installation of a new bank angle sensor but now about 4000 kms later there is an issue with the throttle. Our HD mechanic is at a loss and it appears that they have seen 4 other bikes come in with exactly the same problem and they cannot be resolved. The Problem - suddenly cuts out when going from slow to fast ie from light change to speeding up. Most times kicks back in and we can go for miles without a problem then it repeats itself. Does matter if the engine is hot or cold. Diagnostics point to needing new throttle sensor, but that has not fixed the problem. Various avenues have been pursured over the past week. Computer issues maybe? The computer is not detecting the new throttle sensor. Any insights or direction anyone.
