I did the shocks first and although they are a vast improvement over stock they did nothing for the wobble. I personally would never run stock shocks as I've had Progressive's on my last 3 Harleys but If I had to make a decision between new shocks and a stabilizer the shocks would come in second.

Thanks..I asked because I just met an Indy yesterday that sounded like he really knew what he was talking about, he said the stabilizers don't work and that the Works Performance Shocks are the only way to get rid of the wobble, he guaranteed me, he promised....he was very insistent.

I love this forum, gives you a chance to talked to people that have been there done that, I am not sure what he had to gain, sell of the shocks I guess, but the guy was very sure of himself.

I am glad I caught your post on this, I don't know you, but your not trying to sell me anything either, so I will take your word for it. Thanks for the input.

They dont do anything for the wobble. Get it in writing because you will be bringing them back, so you can call him on it.

I think I will pass on the shocks and just do the stabilizer first, thanks for the info.

I've heard it before and although the shocks are great they have nothing to do with controlling the lateral movement of the swingarm.

My wife even noticed the difference, she said it felt more solid going through the curves. I could tell she was more comfortable going through the curves as I was taking them a bit faster than I normally would have previously with her on the back and she wasn't jabbing me in the ribs.

FYI,

I bought the Bagger Brace (http://bitchinbaggers.com/products/bagger-brace/) instead of the TWR simply because the exhaust didn't have to come off to install it. It's also a few bucks cheaper.

I just returned from a 80 mile blast on the freeway and am amazed how stable the bike is at 80MPH compared to before.

I personally do not intend of ever having a Center Stand so again, this device seems to fit the bill for me.
