Looks like the 09's are selling

Just in this little community I am seeing alot of 09 purchases. I imagine that is a reflection of the rest of the outside world. Wonder if HD's cutting of production will have an effect on availability later into the model year.

I hope not. I am looking forward to purchasing my first piece of American heritage in the form of an RK, either later in this year or early in the next. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Can't wait to join the club.

It goes to show what happens when a manufacturer comes out with a major improvement that gives a consumer a reason to upgrade, Other wise all you are doing is swapping paint jobs.

The dealer here is sold out of 08s, low on 09s. I really think the production cut will show up in the spring of next year. Dealers are going to be short 09 bikes and they are going to want top dollar(over msrp) for what they have.
