Oil Everywhere
The screamin eagle a/c cleaner back plate has a hole throught each back plate post that attaches to each cyclinder head. The bolt that goes in there is also hollo with a hole in the side of the bolt that vents into the air cleaner. This vents the crankcase pressure. Your engine burns some of the oil. But if the engine has more than 3.5 qrts oil, or the air filter has not been serviced in a while and has become saturated with oil on the bottom, you will see oil coming out down the left side of your bike. I keep mine just a tad below 3.5 qrts and have never blown oil out, and thats even on 103 degree days in Sacramento getting on it hard.
The manual does say to screw the oil stick all the way in, than check it. Its better to check it hot too. The dip stick has a cold check side, and a hot check side, both sides show different levels.
