I am picking up my 103 build tomorrow. I will am assuming that they will give me my stock heads, jugs, pistons, aircleaner and pipes as well. Are they worth keeping or can someone use this stuff for something?
Make sure you tell them, you want YOUR parts back. Many dealers just keep them, and then sell em on the net, or wrenches turn them in the back room shuffle. I might be interested in your heads, jugs, and pistons. What year, and what size are you replacing. THere's always a buck in selling used parts. How long were they on your bike before going to the big bore?

Came off of 2008 RG with around 1400 miles. I would rather give a good deal to someone here than put on e-bay. Let me also state that it was not my intention to try and sell them here. But if you are interested, feel free to PM me or send e-mail to joefindell@bellsouth.net. I will give you (bigskyhd) first dibs if you are interested.
I looked on ebay a couple of times, and people were only getting like $150.00 for jugs ,and pistons, saw one complete set of jugs, pistons, and heads (supposedly 1,000) miles on them went for $200.00.
