I went to but a new SG today but they did not have any with ABS. I thought ABS seemed like a good idea for safety. Any problems with the ABS? Do you think it is worth the 795.00 extra for it?
If I had it to do over I would not have ABS. I think the rear ABS kicks in to early and when down shifting the rear brake pedal will jump with each shift and I’ve had the rear brake go away completely when I got to first gear. This is not in a panic stop but it is with a little more than normal pressure.
I bitched about it to the dealer who checked it out and told me everything was normal. Oddly enough I have not had the problem since which makes me suspect that there is something they did but don’t want to admit to. I don’t think the Motor Company has worked out all the kinks and I’m going to wind up with brake issues as the miles pile up.
