Word is no 6 speed for '07 touring models. they're going to run the 6 speeds in the dynas for another year. I wish they all came with 6 speeds, a 6 gallon tank, and a 100 rear wheel horsepower engine. Then they'd really be worth the 20 large they ask for.

6 gallon tank....how long can your butt last on a ride.....? I need to get off after an hour for a few minutes.....

6 speed would be nice...but it's ok with what we have...more torque and HP would be nice though.....

Ride On

Ditto the power, not worried about a 6speed or bigger tank.

When is the Moco going to do a VROD dresser? Seems like that could be a cool bike. I know you can buy aftermarket parts to make touring VRODs. And when the aftermarket does something the Moco often isn't far behind.

We all want the latest and the best, however, and HD history bears this out, the latest is NOT always the BEST. With EPA breathing down there throat MOCO is forced to do things it otherwise would not do. They have had to BACK UP and redo quite often. Just look at the 06 model year. The Dynas were recalled with problems and the mid-year injector change on tourers. Now they seem to have 06 looking pretty good and in 4 or 5 months this is going to start all over again and IMO the 07 and 08 are really going to see CHANGES. Some will be good and some will be bad.
This is one of the reasons I choose to buy a March mgf. 06 and not wait for the 07 to come out in a few months...... hdman

It's the CycleVisions RoadRod. Man, would I ever like to ride one of those. I saw one on the floor at a dealership in San Jose a year or tow back....

That would be nice having a 6 speed.
im sure the price will be a bit more when the bikes are all 6 speed.

RockyRoad,

Where did you get your information? Not trying to second guess you, but there have been several other rumors that contradict some of what you are saying. That darn MOCO can really keep a secret and I'd be curious to know what your source is as I am thinking about buying an '07.

There was a rumor that all '07 baggers would have the 95 inch motor also (not 100 horsepower but at least a step in that direction). Have you heard anything about that?

Have installed a SE 6 speed in my bike. I knock around the dealership all the time. And the other day I asked about - assuming the 6 spd. would make the touring class in '07 - if the '07 touring bikes would come with the 6 speed. My dealer told me no. Maybe the dealer doesn't know itself, is lying, whatever. That's just what I was told when asking a direct question.

My 6 speed makes things quieter and smoother. I really like it.
