Default Mini apes or street glide? Without changing cables?

Does anyone know what size and brand apes I can get without changing my cables on 07 street glide? I also have factory radar is that going to be in the way? Any info would be appreciated.

Don't short change yourself and wind up doing the job twice. I just put Khromewerks Sweeper bars, (300505), bars on my Ultra. I did change the clutch cable with the sidecar clutch cable, it's 3" longer than stock. I did not change the throttle/idle cables. I also changed the rubber riser bushings to the poly ones. These bars are great and comfy and only $65.00 vs the Chubby's at over $200.

AAHH... The never ending question of getting comfortable handle bars on an 07-08 (and now 09) Street Glide and still be able to use the fairing mirrors..!!

I have been watching and waiting for someone to figure this out.. There are tons of posts here on this subject..

No matter what bars, Wild Ones, KromeWerks etc. They all seem to get into the mirrors.

Most guys say put handlebar mirrors on and get over it.. BUT.. I Like the look of the fairing mirrors.

Tried the Kuryakyn fairing trim mirrors too. Didn't like them..

So, if someone finds a comfortable bar here that is half *** out of the (fairing) mirrors, I will be extremely grateful..!! And on my 500 mile rides will not have pains in my lower back and shoulder blade.. Also your wrist is at a bad angle and your hands tend to go numb.

You would think HD would have done better research on theses before making them standard issue..!!!!

OK.. my 2 cents..
