I have an '07 RKC with a little over 4000 miles on it. I have the chance to buy an '09 Ultra at a pretty reasonable deal. The dealer has offered me $17K for my RKC and will sell the Ultra at list plus tax, no other mark ups or charges.
I am torn as I love my RKC but I am thinking an Ultra might be a better route for the longer term. If it was a car deal I wouldn't think twice, but I have this weird attachment to my bike. What would you do?
Hurt my back shortly after buying the RK in June of '07 so only had 200 miles on it at the beginning of this season. I've ridden quite a bit this year but I have to work too, damn it.
