I just finished install the Jagg horizontal premium with the adapter and anti spin attachment yesterday. the total job took 2 hours and no special tools, 7/16", 1/4" and 1" sockets and a couple small Allen's to assemble the filter adapter. Also used blue medium locktite on the small allen screws. Piece of cake job, even a caveman could do it. Oh, wrong commercial...

+ 1 on that, 16 ounces is what it took for me to top it off. Some of the oil I replaced was from what I lost when removing the filter.

The oil coolers are standard equipment from the MoCo on the CVO bikes although they are a slightly different design than the HD Premium model.

If the oil cooler and the lines hold oil, which of course they do, then the bike will certainly require more oil in order to keep the same pressure up.

This, by the way, is also a benefit of an oil cooler. The more oil in the bike the cooler it will run.

The 7/16 allen head is the same as the lugnut wrench on my 71 Shovelhead, any place that sells old Harley parts and tools have them including J&P Cycles. Spike

You guys always talk about finding that 7/16 allen wrench when all you really need is a 1/4 bolt with 4 nuts all locked together. You know take a 1" bolt lock 4 nuts on it and stick it in a 7/16 socket and you have the equivilent of a 7/16 allen.
That's what I did and it worked perfect.
And the cooler works great also!!!

You will benefit from having the proper oil cooler.
That was a great series of articles on oil coolers. I just wonder if the oil pressure drop is that big a deal or not. Obviously more is better but is it a huge factor. I like the way the HD mounts between the frame down tubes better. Would have to consider the jagg superior after reading the articles from AIM.
