BJ's Gas?
Major difference in cheaper gas is the lack of detergents...just add techron or MMM...

No issues with BJ's gas here. I use them if it is convenient, but not that often. Seems like just about everyone is putting on the 10% stickers around here. When I'm out, I'll use anyone's, but try to stick to the majors.

FWIW, I live within 5 miles of one of the largest tank farms in the southeast (fed by a very large underground pipeline) and many times have seen the same tankers drop loads at all the gas retailers in the area...Exxon, Shell, Citgo, Costco, Kroger, QT...you get the idea.
All these tankers are being loaded through the same tanks/pipeline and have additives added after they load...but the gas is the same.
