Question Dash insert trim

I don't know if this is what you call it, but the small chrome strip on the tank of my 08 ultra will not stay down on the end nearest to me. It's the strip that fits where the Headset hookup is. I put some 3m tape on it, but it still pops up. Any ideas? Is there anything under the strip? I'm thinking super glue.

It's an o8 - make the dealer fix it - it's under warranty!

Sometimes the dealer cant fix things like this.
For example, the dealer attempted to fix the faring trim on my bike 2 times.I finally fixed it by using super glue instead of what ever they tried using.

That's what I'm thinking, they put the tape on once, and it seems to stick up farther than before, and the tape's not holding. What the official name for this piece? I think I found it in the catalog but it looks shaped different on the top.
