Got the smoked tour pak lenses at work today from Drag so I decided to throw them on. I had a hard time putting the bulbs in and now I know why. The damn things were single filament and not the 2057 dual filament style that came out stock. Now the darn things are stuck in there and I can't get them out without destroying them or the housing. I'm gonna call Drag and give them a piece of my mind, but how am I gonna get them out??

If you DO break them trying to get them out, an old trick for busted light bulbs was to shove a de-skined potato on to the jagged edge of the bulb base/busted glass to grip/turn it with.
Got 'em out. Had to disassemble the entire socket from the bottom and then pry the bulb out gently......still pissed though! Gotta wait till the right bulb comes in Tuesday.
Get a beer, drink it , then drink one more, turn on NPR and calmly remove the bulbs, then drink another beer, then call DS and give them some feedback. Good Luck.
Hey Dawg, you may find with the smoked lenses that the light from the rear will appear sorta orangish in color. If that is the case, order a couple of bulbs from Kuryakin, part no. 4818. They are an iridum based bulb and show true red in color.
Consider yourself lucky you got them out without any real damage. You gotta watch those aftermarket products, regardless of who makes em. The MOCO is becoming the worst. Check it out before it goes on....
