Default Broken Saddlebag Support

I noticed I had a broken one Saturday. Went to the dealer on Sunday and was a little surprised he had one in stock. He told me "Yeah, I usually stock 2-3 of those" which leads me to believe this may be a not so unusual problem. Just one more thing to keep an eye on.

I usually see it happen to people that remove their rear bumper and don't use the proper replacement support bracket from the FLTR's or FLHX's.

On my RK, this was on the left side. There's rarely anything in the bag on that side more than a baseball cap, sunscreen, one pair of gloves and a pair of clear glasses. Oh, and a mini-mag flashlight. Not exactly heavy stuff. But I'm sure when the bracket was made ( bent ) it stressed it at that point and if it's going to break, that will be the most likely place.
