changing bulb in headlamp

Default changing bulb in headlamp
Im changing the bulb in the headlamp of an 07 streetglide but Im having trouble pulling the wiring harness off,its relly hard to pull. Is there a trick to this? Also the rubber is hard to move as well. Im thinking that this should not be this difficult. Need help ,thanks

push the side of the clip. squeeze and pull. rubber boot rolls back. then small screw to release clamp

If you screw it up like I did,the bulb ain't but 16.00 dollars at the dealer
