FXDF Headlight Bulb Replacement
OK, this should be easy, but I cant remove the bulb from the connector.
I had no problem removing the trim ring or separating the bulb and headlamp connector from the back of the headlamp lens, but I can't figure out how to separate the bulb from the connector. Looks like it should pull straight out but it doesn't seem to want to. Replacement bulb has three straight pins on the back so I can tell it should pull straight out. There is a red tab on the connector that slides in and out. I have tried it in both positions (in and out), but doesn't seem to make a difference.
Anyone else run into this?

push in then pull
I haven't done one of those specifically. But I run into them all the time in the 4 wheeled world. A lot of times it helps to push down on the connector while sliding the red tab then pull. Not really sure how else to describe it?
