Hey Guys
Anyone familiar with this new feature
How do you make the Cylinder turn on & Off when it gets hot in traffic
I read somewhere that the 2009 has this feature
Haven't needed it I was just wondering how it works
On 08 models a download was required and it could be turned on or off I believe but with 09 models I think its all automatic. Of course what do I know since I ride a sporster just thought I'd take a stab at answering your question.

Left my owners manual at the Bar the first day I picked up the Bike!!!!!!!!!
Opened it up started looking one thing led to another and somehow left with out it.
Oh , and I didn't even have a Drink
1. Turn the engine switch to On and push the Off/Run to Run.
2. Push the throttle to roll-off position and hold.
3. After 3 seconds the cruise indicator lamp will flash green (ENABLED) OR RED (DISABLED).
4. Repeat the procedure to enable or disable.

Can't imagine owning one of theses w/o a manual; too much info needed. Looks like the best thing now is to order another one. The SERVICE MANUAL available at the dealers is also a must have to enjoy ownership. my .02
it's for when the engine gets extremly hot. roll the throttle all the way forward past the resting/ neutral position. a light on your dash will start flashing. that means it's working.
